Vicky Lee | Leader Coach/Vocal Instructor

Vicky Lee is the LEADER COACH at Real Tone Music, overseeing vocal standards, teaching methodology, and the development of both students and the teaching team.

She is a strong advocate of NATURAL RESONANCE-BASED SINGING, focusing on healthy and sustainable voice development through scientific breath support, posture alignment, and efficient vocal production.

With nearly 20 years of experience in vocal teaching and performance, Vicky holds a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Shenyang Conservatory of Music (China) and has extensive live and studio experience as a former rock vocalist signed to Howl Records.She has also appeared as a stage vocalist in the film" What Women Want 2011"(starring Andy Lau), bringing her live performance experience from stage to teaching.

Her expertise centres on pop vocal fundamentals and practical technique, including belting, chest–head transitions, mixed voice coordination, and contemporary resonance strategies. She is especially effective in working with singers at technical plateaus, able to identify vocal issues immediately and retrain technique from the fundamentals to restore clarity, balance, and control. She works across all modern pop vocal techniques and the evolving vocal styles of different pop eras.

Jackson Yi Hang | Vocal /Guitar Instructor

With a STRONG SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE on China Douyin, Yi Hang is a rising vocal creator known for his engaging singing style and creative approach to music. He has over 20,000 followers on Douyin, 1,800 fans on Xiaohongshu, and has released three original singles on QQ Music and KuGou Music, including Celebrating Our Encounter, which has surpassed 9 million views on Douyin.

Holding a degree in Music Performance, Yi Hang has over three years of teaching experience as a vocalist and guitarist. His teaching blends traditional vocal fundamentals with modern pop techniques, without limiting students to a specific style. He is known for using unexpected yet practical teaching ideas to help students understand singing in a natural and engaging way.

Yi Hang’s lessons, especially in small group settings, are designed to be interactive, dynamic, and creatively structured. He focuses on musical expression, stage confidence, and practical skills aligned with today’s music trends, creating a learning environment that encourages exploration, participation, and confidence-building.

Mina Du | Vocal /Piano Instructor

Holding a MASTER’s degree in Music Education from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Mina is classically trained in TRADITIONAL vocal methods with a strong emphasis on solid vocal fundamentals. Her academic background equips her with a clear, structured understanding of vocal technique and pedagogy.

She has extensive teaching experience in Singapore and China, with formal training in classical bel canto, Chinese traditional vocal techniques (including theatrical and operatic vocal colours), and modern pop singing. Mina specialises in guiding students through the technical transition between traditional/classical vocal systems and contemporary pop expression, ensuring consistency, control, and vocal health.

Her teaching is grounded in core vocal fundamentals, including breath management, resonance coordination, vocal agility, and tonal control. She helps students apply these principles across different genres, languages, and cultural vocal traditions, building versatility through understanding rather than imitation.

She is dedicated to vocal and music education, helping students build a solid foundation and confidence in singing and performance. Mina offers classical piano training and pop vocal lessons for both children and adults, with clear, structured guidance tailored to each learner.

Her teaching blends technical precision with musical expression, guiding students to sing with clarity, stability, and artistic depth.

Shadow Du | Guitar / Ukulele / Cajon Instructor

Shadow is a seasoned guitar and percussion instructor with over ten years of teaching experience. He is also the author of eight influential guitar books that have inspired many aspiring musicians.

Shadow has received top honors in various competitions, including second place at the Dove Guitar Competition and first place at the Shubb Tiger Year Guitar Innovation Contest. His achievements reflect both his technical excellence and creative approach to music.

As a Finger Music Teaching Certified instructor, Shadow offers practical and personalized lessons that focus on helping students build solid fundamentals while enhancing their musical expression. He specializes in electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, and cajon, integrating theory with practice to guide students in developing both technical skills and artistic confidence.

Shadow is passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students can steadily grow, explore different musical styles, and enjoy their musical journey.

Edison Lee | Vocal /Piano Instructor

Edison Lee holds a MASTER of Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of West London (UK) and a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music (China).

He graduated with First Class Honours (Distinction) in his Master's programme. After graduation, Edison formerly served as a university vocal instructor. He has held numerous solo concerts at renowned venues, including the Esplanade Recital Studio and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. He has also published several research papers exploring vocal techniques for various musical styles from around the world.

Edison possesses a deep understanding of the Berklee vocal mixing system, with a special focus on healthy vocal technique. He has pioneered his own "Effortless Singing Method" while specialising in the development of extreme high-range vocals and tone colour. With extensive teaching experience, he has guided many students toward successful admission to prestigious music conservatoires and arts institutions globally.

Edison encourages his students to delve deeply into the stylistic characteristics of different musical genres while mastering their technical skills. He is dedicated to guiding his students to become versatile musical artists and influential musical leaders, rather than simply technicians of vocal technique.

Kho Jing | Vocal /Keyboard Instructor

A WELL-FOLLOWED SINGING-AND-PLAYING CONTENT CREATOR on Instagram, Xiaohongshu, and TikTok, Kho Jing is known for her distinctive PLAY&SING style and her unique perspective on singing and musical interpretation, which has made her performances widely appreciated across social platforms. Her approach is shaped by over 15 years of stage experience and a lifelong foundation in music.

Having studied classical piano from a young age, she understands the differences between traditional piano training and modern pop performance, allowing her to reinterpret pop songs with individuality, emotional clarity, and musical intention.

In her lessons, Kho Jing helps adult learners build strong Music-Vocal coordination and develop their own interpretive voice. She focuses on tone, phrasing, style, and musical intention, guiding students beyond imitation toward confident, expressive pop performances.

Ray Chan (Vocal /Guitar Instructor)

A DETAIL-ORIENTED SINGING SPECIALIST, Ray is a vocal and guitar instructor with over 5 years of teaching and stage performance experience, known for his careful listening and deep focus on vocal fundamentals. He began learning guitar at the age of 13 and specialises primarily in electric guitar, while also teaching acoustic guitar.

Ray is recognised for his beautiful vocal tone, accurate pitch, and strong dynamic control, developed through consistent study and detailed practice. In 2025, he participated in the World Championship Singing Contest organised by WACAC and was awarded the Gold Award, reflecting his solid singing foundation and disciplined approach.

He has a strong interest in analysing vocal fundamentals in both Mandarin and English pop singing, paying close attention to breath support, pitch, rhythm, and tone control. Ray is especially known for working patiently and thoroughly with each student, identifying strengths and weaknesses and refining details step by step.

In his lessons, Ray guides students in developing chest voice, head voice, falsetto, mixed voice, dynamic control, and vocal range, while maintaining a calm and supportive learning environment. He believes music learning should be a focused yet enjoyable journey, and is dedicated to helping students build confidence through careful, consistent progress.

Sharon Zhang | Vocal Instructor

Sharon is a highly experienced vocal coach with nearly 20 YEARS of teaching experience. She holds a music degree from Shanghai University and furthered her training at the musical theatre departments of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Shanghai Theatre Academy. In addition, she holds a professional intermediate teaching title in music education, reflecting her strong academic and pedagogical background.

At Real Tone Music, Sharon is dedicated to helping students discover their unique voice through scientific and effective vocal techniques. Her lessons focus on building healthy vocal foundations, including breath support, resonance placement, tone shaping, articulation, and safe high note production. With her guidance, students gain confidence, improve vocal flexibility, and develop a deeper understanding of their own voice.

Sharon’s teaching style is both professional and supportive, creating a positive and joyful learning environment. She works with students of all levels, from beginners to experienced singers, and encourages them to explore different vocal styles, express their individuality, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.

Rina Wan | Vocal Instructor

Rina is a dedicated vocal coach known for her beautiful tone, powerful MIXED VOICE, and mastery of contemporary pop vocal techniques. With years of teaching and performing experience, she brings both technical precision and heartfelt musicality to her lessons, helping students of all levels unlock their vocal potential.

A firm believer in building solid foundations, Rina guides students in mastering essential skills such as breath control, head-chest voice blending, resonance placement, tone adjustment, and clear articulation. Her teaching focuses on developing healthy and flexible mixed voice production, empowering students with confidence to navigate different vocal registers and styles with ease.

Rina’s lessons are engaging and encouraging, designed to help students find their authentic voice while enjoying the learning process. She is passionate about inspiring students to explore their unique musical style, drawing from her own experience creating covers on QQ Music and sharing performance clips on Douyin. Rina specialises in pop, R&B, and crossover styles, and is committed to helping each student achieve personal growth, stage confidence, and artistic expression.

Valen (Vocal Instructor)

Valen is a performer with over 10 years of live performance experience across a wide range of venues and events. Blending real-world performance insight with structured vocal training, he helps students connect emotional intention with vocal expression.

A café singing competition judge and a finalist in an Eric Chou radio music segment, Valen is also an active guitarist who regularly performs live. Known for his patient and encouraging coaching style, he builds confidence and guides students to sing with authenticity, joy, and emotional connection.

HONG | Guitar/Ukulele Instructor

HONG is a talented and dedicated Guitar and Ukulele instructor at our music school. Holding a professional music qualification from Trinity College London, HONG brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching.

With many years of stage experience, HONG excels in both guitar and ukulele performance, particularly when it comes to singing English songs while playing. His unique ability to combine instrumental skills with vocal performance makes his lessons engaging and enjoyable for students of all ages and skill levels.

HONG is also an active participant in music ensembles, showcasing his versatility and passion for collaborative music-making. His personalized teaching approach focuses on nurturing students' musical interests and helping them achieve their goals.
